Usha Rangnani Appointed as Deputy Director (DIG) at BPR&D

AB News, New Delhi: Senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Mrs. Usha Rangnani has been appointed as Deputy Director (DIG) in the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) on a deputation basis.

A 2011 batch IPS officer from the AGMUT cadre, Mrs. Rangnani, is widely recognised for her distinguished service and operational expertise across various Union Territories and States. A strong focus on effective policing, public safety, and administrative leadership has marked her career.

Her appointment is seen as a valuable addition to BPR&D, which plays a pivotal role in supporting the modernisation of police forces across India through research, training, policy formulation, and capacity-building initiatives.
