India Has Never Been Driven by Expansionist Mentality: Modi

AB Desk, New Delhi, 21-11-2024: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that India has never advanced with an expansionist mindset and has always refrained from seeking to seize others’ resources. Modi made these remarks during a special session of the Parliament of Guyana in South America on Thursday.

Highlighting geopolitical tensions, Modi emphasized the need to identify and eliminate conflict-triggering situations.

He further remarked, “Today, we face numerous challenges such as terrorism, drugs, and cybercrime. Tackling these issues is essential to shaping a better future for the coming generations.”

Modi stressed that prioritizing democracy and humanity is crucial. He said that India has always communicated with principles, trust, and transparency at its core.

The Prime Minister also pointed out that global goals cannot be achieved if even a single nation or region lags behind. He stated, “This is why India emphasizes that every nation matters.”

Regarding India’s foreign policy, Modi asserted that his country has never operated with selfish intentions. He added, “We have never moved forward with an expansionist mindset or a desire to seize resources.”

This speech underscores India’s commitment to cooperative global progress and its stance against territorial or economic domination.
